Los linces entre nosotros

Los linces prosperan en el área metropolitana de Tucson a pesar del crecimiento de la comunidad en el desierto Sonora. por Tony Paniagua

Un grupo de científicos y voluntarios han conducido un estudio extenso sobre los linces al oeste de la carretera 10 en Tucson. El “Bobcats in Tucson Research Project” atrapa los animales, toma muestras de ADN y registra detalles como el peso del animal y la salud general. Hasta ahora, el grupo ha capturado y liberado más de 50 linces individuales con collares de satélite, los cuales han sido visto en más de 50,000 ubicaciones.
