A judge denied Arizona Tribal Nations’ request to intervene in a lawsuit over the Grand Canyon National Monument, stating their interests are represented by the U.S. government.
The ACLU filed a lawsuit in federal court on Wednesday challenging the Biden administration’s new executive actions that block migrants from seeking asylum at the southern U.S. border when crossings surge.
It would shut off asylum requests and automatically deny entrance to migrants once the number of people encountered by American border officials exceeded a new daily threshold.
