Featured on the February 25th, 2021 edition of ARIZONA SPOTLIGHT with host Mark McLemore:
A closer look at three new artistic collaborations that you can experience from home:
- Elaine Romero has been Arizona Theatre Company’s playwright-in-residence for more than 20 years. Beginning March 1st, ATC will be among more than a dozen theatrical groups across the country that are celebrating her work in an event called "RomeroFest”. Mark talks with Elaine Romero about her award-winning career, and what it means to be an artistic ambassador on behalf of the borderlands. On the Arizona Theatre Company website, there is a master calendar that will help you find all of the companies in the United States and Mexico who are performing Romero’s work in the month of March, including ATC, Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre and Winding Road Ensemble Theater in Tucson.
