Featured on the August 6th, 2020 edition of ARIZONA SPOTLIGHT with host Mark McLemore:

  • How 17 UA student filmmakers overcame this year’s challenges, and completed their movies for the annual showcase I DREAM IN WIDESCREEN. Mark talks with Scott Weber, an Emmy-award winning sound mixer and recording specialist with his own studio in Burbank. Weber offered help to all of this year's UA filmmakers to get their movies completed - remotely - during the pandemic. Also, BFA degree filmmakers Roxanna Denise Stevens Ibarra and Zach Lovvorn talk about their featured films.

This year, you can support these student filmmakers without leaving home. The 15th annual I DREAM IN WIDESCREEN, featuring 14 films by 17 artists, will be presented on YouTube starting at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET on Saturday & Sunday, August 8th and 9th, 2020. This 2-day digital film festival also includes a series of conversations featuring industry luminaries, all of whom are alumni of the UA School of Theatre, Film & Television.

It stars Carley Elizabeth Preston, Christopher Johnson, and Cynthia Meier of The Rogue Theatre, directed by Joseph McGrath, with original music by Russell Ronnebaum & Samantha Bounkeua, and sound design by Mark McLemore & Alisa Ivanitskaya.
