Sen. John McCain, seeking his sixth term, amassed $900,000 in July, August and September, according to his campaign finance report filed with the Federal Election Commission. The Republican's campaign also reported having nearly $5 million in the bank.
Republican challenger Kelli Ward, a state senator from lake Havasu City, reported raising $500,000, and she has a balance of $320,000.
Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick, now serving as a congresswoman from Arizona's 1st District, reported raising $500,000 in the second quarter and having $750,000 in the bank in her bid to unseat McCain.
The next campaign finance reports are due in January.
