AZPM celebrated Curiosity Day with visitors to the Quincie Douglas Library on September 17.
Curiosity Day, celebrated on September 17, is also the anniversary of the creation of "Curious George" - a popular children's book created by Margaret Ray and H. Ray in 1941.
Curious George is a sweet African monkey who can't help but run into trouble. There is an animated series based on the authors book's and the themes include learning, forgiveness, and playful curiosity. Being curious makes our minds observant of new ideas. Since our mind is like a muscle that becomes stronger through continual exercise, the mental activity caused by curiosity makes our minds more potent.
