AZPM's "The Buzz" honored by RIAS Berlin Commission

The award was given for excellence in reporting on German-American issues.

Christopher Conover, AZPM News Director and host of The Buzz, along with former producer Ariana Brocious, were honored by the The RIAS Berlin Commission for excellence in reporting on German-American issues. Conover received the RIAS Radio Award in 2020, but due to restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, was unable to formally accept it until late last week at a ceremony in Phoenix.

The RIAS Berlin Commission is a binational organization dedicated to the promotion of German-American understanding in the field of broadcasting. The awards are given for radio, TV and internet productions covering international politics, economics, social issues, cultural developments, or current events.
