Weathered: Earth's Extremes Virtual Screening and Discussion

The event on Zoom featured a full screening of Episode 3 and a Q&A with local permaculture expert Brad Lancaster.

Weathered: Earth's Extremes is a six-part digital-first series hosted by Meteorologist Maiya May. AZPM hosted a virtual screening of episode 3, "The Heat is On." In this episode Maiya meets with Brad Lancaster of Rainwater Harvesting in Tucson, AZ where he gives her a tour and teaches how he is able to successfully grow plants, trees, and crops in hot, dry southern Arizona.

Brad Lancaster was also the subject of the award-winning AZPM original documentary Water Harvester: An Invitation to Abundance. The screening was followed by a discussion between Brad and Arizona Illustrated producer David Fenster.
