Borderlands Food & Film with Chef Pati Jinich

Award-winning chef and best-selling author Pati Jinich recently visited Tucson on a tour to promote the second season of her acclaimed PBS primetime series La Frontera with Pati Jinich.

Visit Tucson and AZPM welcomed James Beard Award-winning chef and New York Times bestselling author Pati Jinich for a special viewing of the Tucson-based episodes of her acclaimed PBS shows La Frontera and Pati’s Mexican Table. The evening's program at the Leo Rich Theatre included a Q&A session with Pati and a reception showcasing local chefs.

During her visit to Tucson, Jinich stopped by the AZPM studios where she sat down with Tony Paniagua to chat about topics including her European Jewish background in Mexico, the challenge she faced getting started on television, and what it takes to write a best-selling cookbook.
