Molly of Denali preview screening at Library Night Out at Old Pascua on June 26.
Arizona Public Media was thrilled to be involved alongside multiple partners in the launching of The Library Night Out at Old Pascua, a new monthly event located at the Richey Resource Center.
Afternoon activities included the Pima County Public Library Bookmobile, native craft activities, traditional Yaqui food, as well as a traditional dress fashion show. AZPM staff engaged with children and handed out coloring pages, pens, stickers, and activity booklets.
The event concluded with a special pre-premiere screening of the new PBS Kids series Molly of Denali, the first nationally distributed children’s series in the U.S. to feature a Native American lead character.
